The better pepper to grow is the Gypsy pepper. The flavor can't be compared to any other pepper. It's mild sweet and crisp. Best eaten when the color is red that's when it's mature. In the growing process first is green, yellow, orange and red. Growing until they reach the red color can have an effect on the amount of harvest you will receive. With other peppers I get heart burn and with the Gypsy pepper there is no acid reflex.
